About

Cassandra is a Melbourne based artist and freelance illustrator. She completed a Diploma of Illustration and an Advanced Diploma of Creative Product Development at Melbourne Polytechnic in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Cassandra’s work reflects her environment and experiences; exploring and reacting to the cities and landscapes she has spent time in. She creates her images by using materials such as thread, aged paper and painted scraps of fabric. Embroidery practices are often used as a form of drawing. Her works use a combination of machine and hand stitching, reflecting the intimate and tactile nature of craftwork.

Cassandra has created work for ANZ and private collections.  She exhibits locally and is available for personal commissions.
